Jarod recently obtained a Master of Science with an emphasis in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Lock Haven University. Prior to receiving his Masters, he received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Arizona State University. Jarod works as a mental performance coach and will be pursuing another Masters degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling in 2026.

Jarod is currently training towards becoming a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) and is accepting clients who are seeking mental performance practice.

Sports have been an integral part of Jarod’s journey and a driving factor as to why this is the field of work he wants to work in. He understands what it takes to be an athlete and knows that the psychological aspect of any sport is just as important as the physical.

Why ZPP?

Zimmerman Performance Psychology is dedicated to providing individualized mental performance coaching that relies heavily on research and theoretical approaches. Whether it be performance anxiety, confidence boosting or setting achievable goals, mental performance training aids in boosting performance in competition. Just like the physical aspect of sport, when applying mental performance techniques there is a great deal of practice that follows. I take pride in providing quality 1-on-1 sessions with athletes to prepare them for the challenges they may endure.
